Why Wi-Fi 6?

This latest standard addresses today’s biggest Wi-Fi challenges: performance and the increasing density of devices and diversity of applications. To handle these challenges, 802.11ax increases throughput capacity by up to four times that of 802.11ac.

Wi-Fi 6 Benefits

  • Higher data rates
  • Increased capacity
  • Improved performance in environments with many connected devices

Advantages of Aruba Wi-Fi 6

Wi-Fi 6 certified AP portfolio meets indoor, outdoor, hazardous location and remote user requirements.

Deliver reliable and high-performing connectivity with AI-based automation and machine learning insights.

Role-based policy enforcement across wired and wireless environments and secure segmentation.

Create a single pane of glass across wired, wireless, and SD-WAN as part of Aruba ESP.

Leverages existing AP infrastructure to securely connect IoT devices using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4/Zigbee, USB-port extensions.

Solving Today’s Wi-Fi Problems

A new standard called 802.11ax was published in early 2018 and was recently renamed Wi-Fi 6 by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

One of its main focuses is to enhance the efficiency of how access points handle devices simultaneously. It’s no longer about comparing Wi-Fi speeds; it’s more about the capacity of the network to provide the optimal throughput for all clients.
