MEC Expands Its Tech Portfolio through Its Partnership with Belden
MEC Networks Corporation now distributes structured cabling and industrial solutions from Belden!
Belden Philippines’ Country Manager, Mr. Bobby Macaraeg, and their Senior Solutions Account Manager, Mr. Francisco Alcantara, personally came to our headquarters for the official memorandum of agreement between MEC and Belden today, August 17, 2022.
Ms. Sheryl Go, MEC’s Senior Vice President for Sales welcomed our esteemed guests from the Belden team and enlightened the audience as to how this partnership came about.
“We have decided to expand our coverage, as we recently ventured into the electrical industry. Part of the expansion is also to cover the industrial market. Looking at the products of Belden, we see that Belden products will be a good fit in this new venture... With our superior distribution expertise, we believe we can contribute to the industrial and construction industry more with Belden.”
In line with this, Belden Philippines’ Country Manager, Mr. Bobby Macaraeg also shared that they now seek to have a strong distributor in the ICT market whereas in the past they had been focused on the retail market.
“This year, after the pandemic, Belden is focused on what we call enhanced solutions delivery both on the smart building and the industrial segment which we feel that MEC will be a vital part of… We needed to have a strong partner in the ICT market. And who better would that ICT distributor be other than MEC. We look forward to a very fruitful engagement between Belden and MEC."
