Last April 6-7, 2017, MEC and SonicWall held its annual Sales Bootcamp at Club Punta Fuego, Nasugbu, Batangas. Account managers and pre-sales consultants from our valued partner-resellers underwent a set of in-depth lectures, product updates, sales workshops and gruelling challenges in the midst of a beach paradise.
Kickstarting the summer, the bootcamp was an avenue for partners to gain insights on the latest solutions and offerings, enhance their professional skills, and simply have fun under the sun. Highlighted topics include a discussion of SonicWall’s Secure First Partner Program and SonicWall Capture APT.
Secure First Partner Program
Ronnie Baniqued, Country manager for SonicWall Philippines, introduced the Secure First Partner Program during the event. Channel partners can gain access to the entire SonicWall portfolio of technology and solutions such as access security, email security, and SonicWall Capture this program.
With SecureFirst, all of these solutions will continue to be available through SonicWall’s network of valued Distributors, so partners can continue to source SonicWall products uninterrupted, in the way they are accustomed. There are several program levels in SecureFirst, which will allow partners to commit to SonicWall solutions that fit their security practices.
Stopping Ransomware using SonicWall Capture APT
SonicWall Capture ATP is a cloud-based network sandbox that scans a broad range of file types labeled as suspicious after it has reached the firewall. It’s designed to detect and stop new and unknown forms of malware such as ransomware, Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), and zero-day attacks by analyzing behavior in a multi-engine APT Protection platform. This platform includes virtualized sandboxing, hypervisor level analysis, and full system emulation technology and is the CRN 2016 Network Security Product of the Year by Customer Demand.
